Merchandise

The Interior Connection previews each item and selects the highest quality merchandise.  Items must be stylish, in good condition and clean.  Our goal is to provide only the finest in pre-owned home décor.  We reserve the right to refuse any item.  Consignors may bring their items directly to the store.  Large items must be previewed before brought in or picked up.  To have large furniture pre-approved you can bring us a picture or send an e-mail to lknconsign@bellsouth.net. In some cases we can pre-approve a large item from your description.

Pricing and Terms

The Interior Connection will price the items based on our knowledge of the marketplace and what we know sells well.  Any information you have: i.e. the original purchase price, age, history, etc. will be taken into consideration. It is our policy not to compromise the consigned price by accepting offers or “bargaining”.  We do, however, use the following price adjustment scale.  Merchandise not sold will be marked down 20% after 30 days, an additional 10% after 45 days and an additional 20% after 60 days during the 90 day consignment contract period.  After 90 days The Interior Connection disposes of items that have not been retrieved.

Payment

At Interior Connection you will receive 60% of the sales price of items over $50.00 and 50% of the sales price of items under $50.00.  Consignor’s checks and statements are mailed on the 10th of each month.

Pick up and Delivery Service

The Interior Connection provides a limited pick up and delivery service for a charge of $45-$65 per trip within the local area.  Consignors delivering their own items must let us know in advance.

Consignment Hours

All consigning is done Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 – 4:00.  Appointments are not necessary but recommended.  Due to the nature of the business, please do not bring more that 25 items per day.  All Saturday consignments are by appointment only.
